Marpha is surrounded with neatly ordered orchards and water canals. The town is clean and well maintained with ample lodging facilities which are equally spick n span.
Tiri (9,186 ft / 2,800 m) is a remote village on the north side from Kagbeni. It is a half an hour journey from Kagbeni. These roads are stony and bumpy.
On top of the hill lies monastery where you can spot Kali Gandaki gorge, snowcapped Himalayan range, and Upper Mustang. Buddhist Chortens in their distinct colours is scattered around the area.
