Singu Chuli is one of the climbing peaks in the Annapurna region. It originates from the Tarke Kang and extends to Tharpu Chuli. Singu Chuli with an elevation of 6501m is the expedition style peak to climb.

Singu Chuli is called as the Fluted peak.

In 1957, Wilfrid Noyce and David Cox first ascended Singu Chuli.

In the core of the Annapurna range, this peak looks fantastic. It is an ideal mountain for visual and climbing aesthetics.

The climb is technically and physically demanding. It is suggested only to people with some ice climbing experience. Safety is a major concern.

The incredible adventure follows the route of Annapurna Base Camp. The trip starts from Kathmandu to Pokhara and towards the Singu Chuli base camp.

Trek to Singu Chuli goes along the Modi river valley. The climb leads through the beautiful Gurung settlements. You will cherish the culture along with the natural sites.

The trails are well-tread and full of fragrance. You will be passing through the terraced farmland, lush forest of oak and rhododendron. The sparkling streams, swift-flowing rivers, and the waterfalls will increase your desire.

Every day you are teased with the panorama of the peaks and dizzy high rocks walls.

As you ascend, the snow and ice start to unfold. You will reach the Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700 m) and Annapurna Base Camp (4310 m).

The expedition of the peak has various routes. But, the south ridge is the most attractive line. It connects with the tent peak. It is crucial to acclimatize your body before heading to the expedition.

The south ridge is landslide prone. Due to global warming, many incidents of landslides have occurred.

The North East face is also famous in the summit. The vertical wall near the summit marks some technical challenges.

After the successful climb to the summit of Singu Chuli, you will get a rewarding experience. The 360-degree panorama of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhre ( Fishtail) is very remarkable.
